The non-profit club is currently 115 members strong and even larger number of former Huskys. Members includes all age groups from Ankeny, Cedar Rapids, Central City, Coggon, Delhi, Delaware, Dyersville, Dubuque, Earlville, Farley, Hopkinton, Manchester, Monticello, New Vienna, Ryan and surrounding areas . Children from 6 different school districts make up the Hartwick Huskys Ski Team. The oldest skier is 49 years old and youngest is 3 years old.
It is with heavy hearts that we will be cancelling our 2020 free ski shows and learn to ski events due to restrictions related to COVID-19. The health and safety of our team, fans and the community is our primary concern.
You will continue to see many of our skiers skiing on Lake Delhi almost every day of the week. While we are not meeting together as a team, our skiers are continuing to have fun and learn new acts to perform for you. Your smiles, waves, encouragement and support are greatly appreciated.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that relies heavily on donations from our fans and sponsors for our annual operating expenses. We recognize that it is an unusual year for many, and we do not want anyone to go beyond their means, but if you are able and would like to support us we would appreciate your donations. You can donate via Venmo, PayPal or mailing a donation to PO Box 25, Delhi, IA 52223. You can also support us when you shop on Amazon, shop smile.amazon.com and choose Hartwick Lake Ski Club for your nonprofit, we receive a percentage of your sales back to our club.
We appreciate your support as we are all challenged to do things a little differently this year. We look forward to perform shows for you again in 2021!
Continue to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for virtual ways to stay connected. Stay safe and ski you soon!
